World War One Roll of Honour, Carlton Rode, Norfolk
An immense amount of effort has been made by the Carlton Rode History Group
to compile, check and confirm the names of those who gave their service
and often their lives to their country during WW1
and are now remembered on this memorial board.
The roll of honour was delivered in October 2021 with the intention of it
being mounted on an internal wall of All Saints Church in time for Remembrance Day.

Measuring 2400mm X 1050mm the board itself is unusually shaped for a good reason. There was limited wall space available to position the roll of honour,
rather than just making the lettering smaller and fitting all of the wording into a smaller space, the central section was extended vertically between two windows
creating enough space to fit the lettering used for the names as well as the title and dedication lines onto the board without it looking crowded or reducing the size of the font.
