Parish Council World War One & Two Rolls of Honour

Oak Rolls of Honour for Parish Councils commemorating the servicemen who died in the conflicts of World War One & Two

This Roll of Honour board spans the two World Wars and is installed in the Church of St John, Burwardsley.
It will be seen in public for the first time on Remembrance Day, November 11th, 2018 marking the 100th anniversary of agreeing and signing the First World War Armistice.

The reponsibility of commissioning a Roll of Honour such as this, often falls to Parish Councils whose interests are always very much to represent the local population and reflect their contribution to local and wider society in both times of peace and war.
