Sports Captains Honour Boards for Magdalen College School, Oxford

Four new oak veneered honour boards supplied to Magdalen College School in 2016. Measuring 1200mm high X 900mm wide, the honour boards list the captains of cricket, hockey and rugby.

Magdalen College School has been around a long time, it was founded in 1480 by William Waynflete who as well as being a schoolmaster, was also a Bishop of Winchester and England's Lord Chancellor.
The names listed on these honour boards date from 2001.

The colours used on the boards are predominately a golden oak with 25mm wide border and edge colour of walnut. A 10mm wide gold borderline defines the two areas of colour and produces an effective visual frame which is generally more pleasing to the eye than a uniform monotone.

The school badge is a high quality dye sublimation print that should remain colour fast and fade free for fifty years or more.
After printing the badge is cut to shape, applied to the board and the edges sealed with hand applied clear laquer.
